Bare Bites & Beverages

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

Bare Bites & Beverages (“Bare Bites,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website and online ordering service at barebitesbeverages.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. By using our site or placing an order, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you place an order or contact us, you provide:

  • Your name;
  • Email address and phone number;
  • Order details — items, customizations, pickup location and time, and any order notes; and
  • For truck-booking requests: your event details (event name, address, type, expected attendance, and any notes).

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, when you visit we and our hosting provider automatically receive limited technical data — such as your IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and the pages and times you access — through standard server logs. This helps us operate, secure, and troubleshoot the site.

Payment information. We do not collect or store your payment card details. All payments are processed on a secure hosted checkout by Square, Inc. See Square's Privacy Policy. We receive a confirmation that a payment succeeded, not your card number.

2. How we use your information

  • To process, prepare, and fulfill your order;
  • To send order confirmations and updates;
  • To respond to your questions, quality concerns, and truck-booking requests;
  • To operate, secure, maintain, and improve our website and service;
  • To keep business records and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations; and
  • To protect our rights and the safety of our customers and business.

3. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only with service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed:

  • Square, Inc. — payment processing and order receipts.
  • Supabase — the secure database (hosted in the United States) where your order and request information is stored.
  • Vercel — website hosting and content delivery, including the server logs described above.
  • Google— the “Find Us” page embeds a Google Map; when it loads, Google may receive your IP address and related data under Google's Privacy Policy. We also use Google's email service to receive order and inquiry notifications.
  • Legal & safety. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, property, or safety and that of others.

4. Cookies, tracking & advertising

We use only what's necessary to make the site work:

  • Your cartis saved in your browser's local storage on your device; it isn't sent to us until you place an order.
  • Sign-in cookies are used only for our staff admin area.

We do notcurrently use advertising or analytics cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party advertising trackers on this site. If that changes — for example, if we add advertising or analytics tools in the future — we will update this Policy to describe them, and, where required, provide a consent option and opt-out choices before they take effect. Because we do not track you across sites, we do not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.

5. Data retention

We keep order and request records for as long as needed to run the business and to meet bookkeeping, tax, and legal requirements, after which we delete or de-identify them. You may ask us to delete your information at any time (see “Your choices” below), subject to records we must keep by law.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and reputable hosting and payment providers, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices & rights

You may contact us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Depending on where you live (for example, California and certain other states), you may have additional rights to know what we collect, request deletion, and not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. Since we do not sell or share personal information for advertising, there is no need to opt out of that. To make a request, use the contact details below.

8. Children's privacy

Our service is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
